WHO'S RUNNING THIS SHOW, ANYWAY?

Look Ma, no pulse!

Why, that would be me -- S. Ferrin, bona-fide up-and-walking-around-dead-guy, at your service!

Is being a zombie my most interesting feature? I hope not, but it does tend to shape one's personality a little. Until the Big Day, I really was just kind of drifting through life. My death -- and subsequent return -- inspired me to better myself. I figured if I could crawl out of a coffin and up through six feet of dirt, who knows what else I could do?

First of all, I wanted to learn all about my new physical condition, especially how to stop its further development. So I started hitting the biology and chemistry books. That helped put me in contact with another science buff (now my best friend), Dr. Ian "Please Don't Call Me 'Dude'" Forte, who taught me a lot.

When we first met, it didn't really even bother him that I was undead; he thought it was "interesting". As in, "What ever in the world are you eating? I see. Well, isn't that interesting." (Besides, he's a space alien, so in a way we're both on the outskirts of this society.)

Anyway, with his experience and my newly-discovered natural aptitude for the sciences, we developed some decomposition-arresting and reversing compounds that keep my body as healthy and springtime-fresh as the day I died, instead of becoming all rotty and smelly.

I'm also into music, movies, art, philosophy...this is starting to sound like a personals ad. (Sorry ladies, I'm spoken for.)

And you don't want to read all that right now anyway, do you? No! You want to get to the nice chewy stuff on the rest of the site!

For those of you who are interested in "S. Ferrin the person", there will eventually be a page or two for that. But now I need to get back to work on the content you came here to see. Keep checking back. I promise there will be some eventually.
